WHORES: Band Streams “Playing Poor”

by | Sep 1, 2016

With a name likes Whores., you really can’t go wrong. Atlanta’s noisy rock troika are set to release their debut album Gold, their first new music since 2013’s EP Clean. And now you can hear a song off it called “Playing Poor.”

Gold was recorded at Parhelion Studios in Atlanta with producer Ryan Boesch — he’s worked with a ton of bands including Helmet and the Melvins.

This fall the band will be out supporting the release with a bunch of shows. In October they’ll be doing a run of dates with Big Jesus, and in November will be joining Red Fang and Torche on a US trek.

Gold comes out October 28th through Entertainment One.
