Over the past year we've done some pretty crazy interviews on Ryan's Rock Show. As we begin the new year, we thought it would be appropriate to do a retrospective of standout interviews from the past 365 days. In no particular order, the following is a compilation of interviews conducted in '09 that we feel are deserving of additional limelight:
Brian "Head" Welch - Former Korn guitarist discusses Christianity, life after leaving the band, and his solo career.
Ross Robinson - The infamous producer who brought to life Slipknot, Glassjaw, The Cure, Limp Bizkit, At The Drive-In, and countless others discusses the art of making timeless records.
Ian MacKaye - Minor Threat, Fugazi, Dischord Records - this legendary musician talks music, ethics, straight-edge, and Obama.
Jesse Leach - The former Killswitch Engage vocalist talks leaving the band, his new project The Empire Shall Fall, and wanting people to think politically.
Carley Coma - The Candiria/Hope Kills Fear frontman discusess the near-death Candiria van accident that issued the band $29 million dollars, his past experiences as a Satanist, and his current love for Christianity.
Jordan Blilie and Devin Welch - These former members of The Blood Brothers discuss expectations as a musician, the ups and downs of The Blood Brothers, and their current project Past Lives.
