abigail williams

Though Abigail Williams announced in July that they were breaking up, the band have since confirmed that a new album is in the works.

Due out next year, the group's fourth studio record will see the return of Ashley Ellyllon (Orbs, ex-Cradle of Filth).

Ellyllon contributed to the band's last album Becoming, though it was not publicly announced by the group and only appeared on the CD liner notes.

Abigail Williams will disband following their upcoming US tour.

"This was a very hard decision to make but feels absolutely necessary at this point," the band commented.

The group added, "We want to thank our friends and fans who have supported us through the good and bad times over the years, we know its been a very bumpy road at times. We are still very dedicated to making music and this change will actually allow us to do more of what we want to do and be more productive. We hope to see everyone on the road for this tour that we booked DIY for the most part by ourselves."
