According to this article, Chiodos have revealed Brandon Bolmer (Yesterdays Rising) as the band's new vocalist.

Chiodos will be entering the studio this month to record their third album with producer Machine (Lamb Of God, Every Time I Die). No official announcement has been made in regards to a replacement vocalist for the recently fired Craig Owens.

Chiodos is currently writing a new record, and looking for a vocalist to take over Craig Owens' duties. The band issued the following statement:

"First off, we’d like to thank everyone for their support and understanding. We also want to keep all of you updated with everything that has been happening. For the past couple weeks we’ve locked ourselves in a studio here in MI and writing as much as we possibly can. Tanner Wayne (Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Underminded) has been behind the kit and so far things are feeling awesome. There are about a dozen songs that we feel great about right now. We know the big question hanging out there is “Who will the new singer of Chiodos be?” That being said we’ve had some amazing singers come forward to fill the slot and there are some great ideas bouncing around.

We have received a massive amounts of emails from guys and girls who would like to be considered for the vocalist position. We went ahead and developed a page where you can upload music and videos to. We’ll be going through every submission and keeping you in the loop with what we’re up to. Please contact this email with SUBMISSIONS ONLY as we won't be able to answer everyone's questions. Thanks everyone, we’re excited to make this next step with all of you!

RYAN MINIC: [laughs] it’s so funny, all the bands I interview hate that band.

ANDY WILLIAMS: You give what you give, and that’s basically it. We did some tours with them and they weren’t the greatest of people.

RYAN MINIC: I interviewed those kids back a few months ago, and it was… I think the worst interview I have ever done.

ANDY WILLIAMS: Yeah they probably were really - there was no – I could just imagine, who was it?

RYAN MINIC: I interviewed the bassist – Matt and Pat.

ANDY WILLIAMS: Pat’s awesome. Pat’s just quiet he probably wasn’t giving you anything.

RYAN MINIC: And it’s hard with a radio show, you know?

ANDY WILLIAMS: There’s nothing worse. I used to do a radio show in Buffalo; there’s nothing worse than when a band doesn’t want to respond, and they want to give you one word answers. It’s like “dude come on.”

RYAN MINIC: I remember asking Matt open end questions, trying to get him to talk.

So with all those bands, you mentioned Chiodos and how they just kind of just shot to success, they debuted at #5 on the charts.

ANDY WILLIAMS: They did. I mean, whatever, man. I’m sure they worked for some of it. I’m not going to fully diss them. There are some things that I question about that band. They did a fucking acoustic set or something, and that Craig dude just pulled out his fucking sidekick and started…

RYAN MINIC: While he was on stage?

ANDY WILLIAMS: Yeah, it was like dude “who the fuck are you, man?” Like I said, I don’t know me personally. I just have a bad – not ill will – but I just have bad feelings about a whole bunch of bands

RYAN MINIC: What are other bands that you’re really not fond of?

ANDY WILLIAMS: Horse The Band is another one. Just cause they’re shit talkers. That’s the thing, if they’re going to talk shit - they said some shit about us in an interview, and it was like fuck them who cares.

RYAN MINIC: Yeah I’ve had them on the show too.

ANDY WILLIAMS: They’re cool artists [laughs].
