Dance Gavin Dance frontman Jonny Craig was released from Solano County, California jail on Monday, after being arrested in October on drug charges, reports Indiestar.tv.

Craig was reportedly ordered to complete time in drug rehabilitation.

Dance Gavin Dance guitarist Will Swan has addressed the band's hiatus, and frontman Jonny Craig's recent arrest on drug charges.

"We tried multiple times to get him to agree to rehab. After Warped Tour we gave him the option of going to a rehab facility for at least a month at no cost to him," Swan told Altpress.com. "He wouldn't go. We didn't see much of him for a few weeks and when we did, he seemed to be getting worse and worse. After our show at Sacramentio State last week, we realized he wasn't going to get off the drugs while being in DGD. We didn't want to completely cut him off though, so we decided to go on hiatus until he could clean himself up."

Swan added, "Hardcore drug addiction is no joke or reason for ridicule. If Jonny can put this problem behind him, we'd be glad to come back stronger than ever. Until that happens DGD will stay on hiatus."

Following Wednesday's announcement of Dance Gavin Dance's hiatus, it has been learned that band frontman Jonny Craig has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of narcotics possession and a misdemeanor related to possession of narcotic paraphernalia, reports UnderTheGunReview.net.

Craig's bail is currently set at $15,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Dance Gavin Dance were forced to cancel their Go Big or Go Home! tour, which was set to kick off next month, due to Craig's unreliability.

Absolutepunk is reporting that Dance Gavin Dance has gone on hiatus.

Guitarist Will Swan reportedly posted on Facebook that the band will be out of commission until "Jonny [Craig] can get his life together."

Dance Gavin Dance have canceled their upcoming Go Big or Go Home! tour with I Set My Friends On Fire.

"We regret to inform everyone that due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been forced to cancel our upcoming tour," the band commented. "We apologize to everyone that bought tickets and was looking forward to coming out and seeing us and the rest of the bands."

Dance Gavin Dance frontman Jonny Craig looks to be at work on a solo EP.

"I have nothing else to give anymore," he commented. "This EP I'm putting out is all I have, cause if I don't let this shit go I'm gonna ruin my whole career."

Craig made headlines in February for his MacBook scam, where he was then forced to check into a detox treatment facility; in April, he was kicked out of Emarosa.

Emarosa frontman Jonny Craig has been kicked out of the band, reports Alternative Press.

In February, Craig checked into a detox treatment facility in North Hollywood, CA, just weeks prior to Dance Gavin Dance's US tour, and a week after his MacBook scam went public.

"My state of mind was completely shot and obviously my decision making skills were heavily impaired due to my drug use," Craig said in a statement regarding the MacBook scam.

In an exclusive Ryan's Rock Show interview, Dance Gavin Dance guitarist Will Swan admitted that Craig has a history of stealing from band members.

Emarosa has yet to announce a replacement vocalist. Former Tides Of Man vocalist Tilian Pearson filled in for Craig during his time spent in detox.

Dance Gavin Dance will release a limited edition 7" dubbed People We Knew on May 24 via Rise Records.

The effort will include two bonus tracks from the Hot Topic version of the band's latest album, Downtown Battle Mountain II.
