Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has been found not guilty on charges of manslaughter.

"I have been found not guilty & acquitted of all charges against me," Blythe said on Instagram. "I am a free man."

He added, "Please remember the family of Daniel Nosek in your thoughts & prayers in this difficult time. I only wish for them peace."

Blythe was accused of pushing a 19-year-old fan off stage during a Lamb of God performance in Prague in May 2010 who consequently died.

The manslaughter trial of Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has been delayed -- Blythe will return to the U.S. this week.

According to Richmond, Virginia's CBS station WTVR, Blythe's defense team asked for the delay because a key witness was sick; they wanted that witness to testify in person.

Blythe is allowed to return to the States from Prague until the trial resumes on March 4th.

Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe appeared in a Prague court today, beginning his manslaughter trial.

Blythe stated in court, "I kept my word. I said that I'd get to court today and I did. I do not shy away from responsibility. I'm not a person who runs away from problems, but I do not want to be punished for something I did not do."

Blythe is accused of pushing a 19-year-old fan, Daniel Nosek, off stage during a Lamb of God performance in May 2010 who consequently died.

Parents of Nosek want compensation of 10 million Czech koruna (over $500,000 USD), reports Blesk.cz.

With Blythe's trail now underway, numerous bands took to their social networks to express their support for the frontman.

"As Randy Blythe from Lamb of God goes to trial today our thoughts are with him, his band, and his family," Machine Head posted this morning. "Randy is innocent. This trial is a joke. The American justice system must take a long and hard look at itself, and realize, it has failed him, and us a society."

Mitch Lucker's memorial show Friday night at Fox Theater in Pomona, California saw Suicide Silence perform with a handful of surprise guests, which include Lamb of God's Randy Blythe, Soulfly's Max Cavalera, and Machine Head's Rob Flynn.

Blythe joined Suicide Silence onstage for "You Only Live Once;" Cavalera for a version of Sepultura's "Roots Bloody Roots;" and Flynn for a rendition of Black Sabbath's "Die Young." Video footage can be viewed below respectively.

In addition to the aforementioned vocalists, the evening also saw performances by Tim Lambesis (As I Lay Dying), Austin Carlile (Of Mice & Men), Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel), Eddie Hermida (All Shall Perish), among others.

The memorial show was filmed for an upcoming DVD release. All proceeds from the event go to benefit the education fund of Lucker's five-year-old daughter, Kenadee Lucker.

Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe will stand trial February 4th on charges of manslaughter, according to The Prague Post.

Blythe is accused of pushing a 19-year-old fan off stage during a Lamb of God performance in Prague in May 2010 who consequently died.

"While it is a tragedy that a Lamb of God fan died following a performance by the group, in no way do I feel that Randy did anything improper that led to the young man’s injuries and subsequent death," The band's manager Larry Mazer said in a statement last week. "The price of a ticket to a show does not entitle audience members access to a band’s stage."

The Prague Post is reporting that the trial is expected to last four days.

Nominees have been announced for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

For "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance," the nominees include Anthrax for "I'm Alive;" Halestorm for "Love Bites (So Do I);" Iron Maiden for "Blood Brothers;" Lamb Of God for "Ghost Walking;" Marilyn Manson for "No Reflection;" and Megadeth for "Whose Life (Is It Anyways?)."

Storm Corrosion was nominated for "Best Surround Sound Album."

In other Grammy news, Fun and The Black Keys were nominated six times. A complete breakdown of the nominees can be found here.

Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe was formally indicted on manslaughter charges today in the Czech Republic.

The band's manager Larry Mazer released the following statement:

“After a three month investigation, the prosecutor in the Czech Republic has decided to move forward with an indictment of Randy Blythe on the charge of manslaughter with intent to cause bodily harm. Obviously, we intend to fight vigorously against these charges as we feel that in no way did Randy intend to cause bodily harm on the young fan who subsequently died from injuries sustained at the show.  As he has stated previously, Randy intends to go to Prague to defend himself at trial.

While it is a tragedy that a Lamb of God fan died following a performance by the group, in no way do I feel that Randy did anything improper that led to the young man’s injuries and subsequent death.  The price of a ticket to a show does not entitle audience members access to a band’s stage.  In the years since the murder on stage of Dimebag Darrell Abbott, performers of all genres have had to become more guarded while performing in response to the dangers presented by fans trying to become part of the performance.  We believe that Randy responded professionally to the numerous amount of fans rushing the stage that day, a number of them captured on videos that have been posted on the internet. We have testimony from the venue operator that acknowledges lax security and an improper barricade being used that evening. Numerous testimonies from fans also were contradictory as to the actions of the multiple fans that tried to access the stage.

At this point, all that the band, myself, and our lawyers can do is to present a defense and try to convince the panel of judges who will hear the case that Randy is innocent of all charges and that his name and reputation need to be cleared and that he be permitted to carry on with his life and career always mindful that a fan passed away after a Lamb of God performance."
