TesseracT frontman Elliot Coleman recently joined Periphery in the studio. Video footage is below.

Periphery's 2010 self-titled album will be released digitally as a "special edition" on February 6th via Roadrunner.

The outing will include instrumentals of the record's tracks, along with a new song titled "Passengers."

Periphery has entered the studio today to begin recording its next album.

Adam "Nolly" Getgood and Misha Mansoor will co-produce the effort. 

Periphery bassist Tom Murphy has quit the band.

"I'm sorry to announce that as of today I will no longer be playing bass for Periphery," Murphy stated. "I have had so many unforgettable experiences and have met so many wonderful people while playing with the band and just want to say thank you to all the fans for making that possible. I am leaving to pursue something new."

Periphery are preparing to enter the studio to begin tracking new material.

In July, the band revealed that they have been writing two new albums, one if which is a concept record titled Juggernaut.
