The Power Of The Riff Festival 2012 has been confirmed to take place in Los Angeles on August 11th at the Echoplex. This year's lineup includes: Off!, Dr. Know, Repulsion, Noothgrush, Xibalba, Eagle Twin, Power Trip, Ancestors, Alpha & Omega, Gaza, DNF, Retox, The Love Below, Avon Ladies, Cops, and Hordes. More acts are to be announced. Tickets go on sale Saturday at noon PDT.

The Power of the Riff Festival has added Eyehategod and Black Cobra to its August 13th Los Angeles date, performing alongside Pentagram, Pelican, Trap Them, and more. Additionally, a second Seattle date has been added to the festival's itinerary on August 20th. Organizers of The Power Of The Riff Festival announced that it will take its act up the West Coast this summer, stopping in three cities. Set to feature Pentagram, Pelican, Trap Them, All Pigs Must Die, amongst others, the festival will make stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco (two nights), and Seattle.
