Fear and the Nervous System, featuring James "Munky" Shaffer (Korn), Billy Gould (Faith No More), Brooks Wackerman (Bad Religion), and Steve Krolikowski (Repeater), look to be moving forward with the release of their long-awaited album. 

As previously reported, the project is said to be a "70s rock band Joy Division with a modern feel."

 
Repeater have posted two new tracks online dubbed "Patterns" and "Keep The Sun From Rising". Listen here.

The songs appear on "The Patterns EP" release on iTunes via I Am Recordings/White Label Collective.
 

Repeater are in the final mixing stages of their new Ross Robinson-produced album. A release date is to be announced.

 

Repeater have checked in with an update on their current events. The band commented:

"So what is Repeater up too these days? Well, we've got some really good shows coming up in the next few months. LA, LBC, and OC are all gonna be covered so just check out the myspace page for the info. So when is the next record coming out? It's done, We've heard it, it sounds like a cross between Jesus and Furgie. Ha ha ha, all kidding aside..the records sounds amazing, Ross did a great job on it and we can't wait to share this with you guys. We'll update about the record as soon as we can. Thank you to our friends and fans for being awesome."

 

Repeater have finished mixing their forthcoming Ross Robinson produced record. A release date still unknown.

In addition, the band is currently offering free live tracks to fans from a recently recorded show in Oakland, CA. Those interested in receiving the songs may request them via Myspace.

 
Fear and the Nervous System, Munky of Korn's solo effort, has announced Steve Krolikowski of Repeater as the project's vocalist. Munky recently stated on Modblast that the project reminds him of a 70s rock band Joy Division with a modern feel. Fear and the Nervous System currently has 12 tracks in the making.
