UndertheGunReview.net is reporting that The Human Abstract has disbanded.

Bassist Henry Selva reportedly commented on his personal Facebook (which has since been removed), "Folks, we are not looking for a new vocalist. We are not touring anytime soon. I think it’s only fair you guys know that we’re on 'break or hiatus if you will.' I don’t know why we haven’t said anything. I guess it’s because there is always that 'maybe if something happens, etc..etc…' Or maybe it’s hard for us to realize the reality of our situation, the bands situation, to finally let go. I’ll be honest when I say the folllowing: Periphery and Never Say Die were our last tours together as a band."

An official statement from the group has yet to be released.

Former The Human Abstract vocalist Travis Richter released a statement on his decision to part ways with the band. Richter comments:

Ryan Devlin of San Diego band Corelia will fill in as the band's temporary vocalist for their upcoming run with Periphery, set to kick off on September 3rd in Raleigh, NC.

Dates for Periphery's North American Frak The Gods tour, featuring The Human Abstract, Textures, and The Contortionist, have been revealed. Dates follow:

Suicide Silence have been confirmed as the headlining act on this year's European Never Say Die! Tour 2011, which features Emmure, Deez Nuts, The Word Alive, Oceano, The Human Abstract, and Vanna. Dates for the trek follow:

The Human Abstract has been added to the Ernie Ball Stage on two Los Angeles-area Warped Tour dates. Dates follow:

Emmure, Deez Nuts, The Word Alive, Oceano, The Human Abstract, and Vanna will take part in the European Never Say Die! Tour 2011. While the headlining act will be revealed on June 28th, dates for the trek follow:

The Human Abstract have canceled the remaining dates of their Pull Me From The Gallows Tour with Scale The Summit and This or the Apocalypse.

"We are extremely sad to announce that the remainder of the PULL ME FROM THE GALLOWS has been cancelled due to a sudden and devastating loss to the THA family," the band comments. "Please keep the band and their family in your thoughts and prayers."
