Some things to note about these interviews:
- When I first started this website at 21, the original idea was for Ryan's Rock Show to be an online radio show. Early interviews (2007-2008) are framed that way. Instead of re-editing them to fit the current format of the site, they're now online as they were originally published -- blemishes included. Listen to these with a sense of humor and forgiveness. We all have to start somewhere.
- The evolution of our production quality can be seen by viewing the timeline. In the beginnings, interviews were done in audio with a $20 voice recorder. Likewise, when we started doing video, we weren't using the best of cameras. While some may say the production quality of these early interviews are a bit rough around the edges, we think using primitive recording gear helps preserve the genuineness of the moment. In other words, if you're one of those people that's been asking "why does this video look like it was filmed in the 80s?" -- it's because it was actually filmed in the 80s.
