Kingdom of Sorrow -- a metal project featuring Jamey Jasta ( Hatebreed) and Kirk Windstein ( Down, Crowbar) -- have finished their second album with producer Zeuss. The record is tentatively scheduled for a June release through Relapse Records.

Parkway Drive will be entering the studio this month with producer Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Religion) to record their third studio album. "Writing with a concept in mind has given us more direction," comments frontman Winston McCall. "Every song on this album was created with a definite purpose, as opposed to just writing a riff and building on that." The band's new offering is expected out this summer via Epitaph Records.
