Korn will be releasing a digital EP exclusive to Korn Premium Members on korn.com on July 26.
The EP will include a demo version of “Holding All These Lies”, a live recording of “System” from the “Queen of the Damned” soundtrack, and an in-studio video of “People Pleaser”.
Back in the prehistoric days when neanderthals like Geocities and MP3.com walked the net, Korn was the baddest band in the world. When I was in the 7th grade, I would go to my Catholic grade school non-uniform days strictly in Korn attire, and would scream “Faget” lyrics during recess at the cool kids playing with Nerf footballs. I’d also go to middle school dances with over-sized JNCO Jeans knockoffs, a Korn beanie, and those lame-looking ball chain chokers that hot girls were never really that into. Oh, how the times have changed.
Korn will be performing an hour and twenty minute set inside the crop circle that was revealed in the final installment of their viral videos.
“We spent a lot of time fooling around in the wheat fields and corn fields surrounding Bako when we were kids, and it gets pretty spooky out there at night. That’s where we got the inspiration for the whole thing, so we decided to have some fun with the viral videos,” frontman Jonathan Davis comments.
The concert will premiere in North America on HDNet on July 11 at 8 PM ET and will premiere worldwide on July 12 via MySpace.
Korn’s new album, “Korn III: Remember Who You Are”, can be streamed in its entirety here. The disc hits shelves on July 13 via Roadrunner.
