Do you remember last year when we interviewed Wovenwar? It’s the band that formed after the demise of As I Lay Dying that includes ex-AILD members with Shane Blay of Oh Sleeper. Their 2014 self-titled debut album made quite a stir. And now the guys are back with a follow up called Honor is Dead.
Wovenwar will be joining Atreyu on run of North American dates this fall, alongside Beartooth and Unearth.
Sylosis and Wovenwar are going to be touring Europe together this spring.
All things considered, it’s pretty crazy how Wovenwar started. Everybody knows the story of what happened with As I Lay Dying, but not many people know that the seeds of Wovenwar were actually planted over a decade ago deep in the heart of Texas, long before As I Lay Dying clawed their way to international fame, and years before their infamous demise.
