ABACABB Breaks Up

by | Jun 16, 2010

ABACABB has broken up. Vocalist Tyler Green tells Lambgoat:

“I have heard several things going around on why Abacabb called it quits. It was not just because our bass player quit, or because we had money problems, or any of the other reasons I have heard people talking about. There are probably a million reasons why we decided that it’s best if we all moved on from Abacabb; it was basically a snowball effect that would not end. One thing led to another and it all just became so clear to me and the guys that we should just call it quits. I’m sure you will see a couple of us doing other things in the future. I’m going to go ahead and say the same thing that every other band says. Thanks for all the memories, thanks to anyone who came to a show, bought a CD or shirt, thanks to anyone who booked us a show, booked us a tour, worked for our band, let us sleep on their floor, or let us shower. Thanks to anyone who played in this band and made all this possible. It’s been the best 6 years of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We will be playing some last shows on the east coast this fall, make sure you come out! Also, we will be leaving our merchstores up for a few months so make sure you check them out and grab some merch!”
