Queens of the Stone Age 2017: band releasing new album Villains

by | Jun 14, 2017

If this isn’t one of the best album announcements we’ve seen… Queens of the Stone Age revealed that they’re putting out a new album this summer. It’s called Villains. And you don’t want to miss this clip.

A follow up to the band’s 2013 record …Like Clockwork, the effort serves as the band’s first new music in four years — something we’ve been waiting on for a while.

Villains was produced by Mark Ronson, who’s worked with Adele, Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, and Duran Duran.

This summer the band will be making appearances at Canada’s Montebello Rockfest (June 22-25),  Chicago’s Riot Fest (Sept. 11-13) and Outside Lands festival in San Francisco (Aug. 11-13).

Here’s the announcement video, which includes a clip of a new song called “Feet Don’t Fail Me.” The full version of the track will make its way online soon.

A release date for Villains is TBA.
