Lead Hands (Decoder) Break Up: Guitarist Says He Could Face Up to Three Years in Prison

Lead Hands, formerly Decoder, have officially called it quits.

According to guitarist Jack Burns, “I am facing the criminal charge of grand theft due to a total of 1900 dollars being due [to a merch company for Decoder debt], and could face up to 3 years in prison, or garnished wages, which would not allow me to sustain life.”

Decoder hit rocky terrain in March after a couple lineup adjustments led to a lawsuit over the band’s trademark.

The group formed in 2010.
