Maylene and the Sons of Disaster Comment on Bus Crash

by | Dec 8, 2009

Ryan’s Rock Show has learned that yesterday’s bus accident in Europe involving the members of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster was caused by another vehicle’s driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel. Guitarist Kelly Nunn stated the following:

“Everyone is ok first and foremost. We had a car that had fallen asleep at the wheel and hit a tanker. So this car was sitting in the middle of the freeway without any hazards on and our driver didn’t see it until it was too late. Our driver tried to avoid hitting the car but struck it on the front end and turned us side ways then we went about 60 miles an hour into the guard rail. The bus was totaled. Luckily everyone came out alive and without any injuries. We did not play that night but the fact we are safe and sound makes up for not playing.”

It is still unconfirmed as to whether the bus accident is linked to yesterday’s bus crash involving the members of Every Time I Die.

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster is currently on a European tour with Every Time I Die, Killswitch Engage, and In Flames.
