Deron Miller Issues Update on World Under Blood

by | Feb 2, 2010

Deron Miller of CKY recently checked in with an update on the upcoming album, “Tactical”, from World Under Blood – a band that features Miller and Tim Yeung (Divine Heresy). Miller commented:

“i will be flying to philly to work on some killer CKY tunes and then off to Miami to do vocals for “Tactical”…im listening to ruff mixes of the album now without vocals and i must say im ecstatic…im very excited to put some voices to these sickening arrangements. its my most intricate and physically challenging work so far and working with james murphy is always a blast. i never laugh as hard as i do when he gets mad at pro-tools…has to be seen to be believed!”

“contrary to several rumors, yes we are still working with Nuclear Blast worldwide…they expect nothing but the best and thats what they’re getting and they know it. im headed to the office on wednesday to start up our facebook page…yea i know, facebook? its gayer than 5 adam lamberts but all i can say is that its embarassing for people, but great for bands.”

The Chariot Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show

Given the current state of the music industry, it’s often hard to know if a band creates art, or if they’re a manufactured product designed to sell. Half of the time at shows, it’s hard to tell if a band is playing for real, or if they’re playing to pre-recorded...

The Acacia Strain Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show

I have a pet peeve with the term “music journalist”. I guess technically what I do for Ryan’s Rock Show is a form of journalism, but sadly my image of a music journalist is no longer Lester Bangs. To me, the term “music journalist” has...
