Slipknot Drummer Joey Jordison to Play Drums for Rob Zombie Upcoming Tours

by | Mar 4, 2010

Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison will be handling drum duties for Rob Zombie’s upcoming spring/summer tours.

Zombie comments: “Joey is an absolutely crushing drummer and I am thrilled to have him as part of the Zombie family. His amazing skills promise to take the live show to a whole new level of insanity.”

Jordison also commented, saying, “I am honored, proud and excited to announce that I have joined the ranks as the new touring drummer for Rob Zombie. I’ve been a fan of Zombie’s since the beginning. I’ve toured with them and have always wanted to play for them.  When John 5 called me up to ask if I knew any drummers I could recommend,  I said, only half-jokingly, ‘Yeah, me!'”

“The Gruesome Twosome Tour”, Rob Zombie’s first leg of spring tour dates, is set to kick off on April 26th in Winnipeg, MB. Complete dates can be found here.
