War From A Harlots Mouth have issued an update on their upcoming album, as well as their forthcoming split with Burning Skies. The band comments:
“first and foremost we’re 110% into the final writing process for the upcoming full length and it’s only a month until we start recording the beast that’s going to be called ‘MMX’ @ dailyhero recordings. so far we’re stoked about the outcome and it’s taking the direction we were hoping for: it’s mean, it’s fast, it’s heavy and it’s a total mindfuck to write and play some of those songs and parts at times.”
“we can’t wait to get it recorded and it’s awesome we actually don’t have to wait for that much longer. expect a blog about the gear we’re going to use for the recording in detail. we thought it’s something all gear-nerds and musicians out there would like to know about and why shouldn’t we please those of you who care about stuff like that?!”
“we also recorded some songs for a split with our long time friends burning skies in march. the songs we recorded for that split are something you never heard of us before and something you’re never going to hear from us again. these songs are dedicated to our roots and were just a fun thing to do. anyways, this is the tracklisting for our part of the split:”
