Refused Frontman Comments on Ticket Scalpers

Refused frontman Dennis Lyxzen commented on scaplers who have been reselling tickets for the band’s upcoming reunion shows in San Francisco and New York at double the cost.

“That is indeed capitalism in it’s prime,” Lyxzen stated. “As a band there is very little that we can do about it. I know that there is a limit to 4 tickets per person but that doesn’t seem to help as much as we want.”

“It is frustrating that we are not going to have the time to play and hang out with everyone that wants to see us. The demand has been way crazier that we ever expected. On the other hand it is pretty amazing that so many people are working hard to get tickets and that there are so many people that have been giving us alot of love these last weeks. It means alot to me. Hopefully we will be able to play more show so that more people will be able to see us.”
