The Dear Hunter to Record New Album this Summer, Band’s Own Label Partners with Equal Vision

The Dear Hunter have launched their own record label called Cave & Canary Goods and have partnered with Equal Vision Records.

The band will enter the studio late this summer with producer Mike Watts to begin tracking their next album, due in early 2013.

Frontman Casey Crescenzo comments, “After spending a good amount of time debating on whether to continue the Act records at this point, or take another step to the side – the most natural path seemed to be to leave all preconceptions to the side, and to write a record straight from the heart, without any filter of concept or plot.”
