Animals as Leaders: Javier Reyes’ Stolen Vehicle Found

by | Jun 20, 2012

The stolen vehicle of Animals as Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes was found — inside was one of ten missing guitars.

LAPD found Reyes’ Chevrolet Blazer with Tosin Abasi’s Strandberg #17 in the back seat. “Hopefully this is the key to finding the rest of the guitars!” Abasi commented.

Upon returning to their Los Angeles home last week, the group found much of their gear stolen. A total of ten guitars went missing, many of which are custom instruments, as well as amplifiers, PA equipment, and personal items.

A photo album of the missing gear is on Facebook. Those with any information regarding the remaining nine missing guitars should contact the band at animalsgear@gmail.com.
