Harley Flanagan Stabs Cro-Mags Members at CBGB Festival Show in NYC

by | Jul 7, 2012

Former Cro-Mags bassist and founder Harley Flanagan attacked current members of the band with a hunting knife at Friday night’s CBGB Festival show at Webster Hall in New York City, reports the New York Post.

Around 8:15 p.m., Flanagan allegedly forced his way into Cro-Mags’ dressing room, slashing William Berario above the eye, biting his cheek, and stabbing bassist Michael Couls on the arm and stomach.

Flanagan, who suffered a broken leg during the incident and forced the show to be cancelled, was handcuffed to a chair by police and removed from the venue.

A witness told the Post, “People started booing him and throwing stuff at him. His hands were handcuffed but he still gave everyone the finger.”

The injured members of the band were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening wounds.

Flanagan, who was also taken to the hospital, is being hit with two counts of 2nd degree assault and weapons charges.
