Randy Blythe’s Bail Doubled to $400,000

by | Jul 17, 2012

Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe may be released from custody soon, but his bail has doubled, reports Idnes.cz.

The Prague Municipal Court dismissed the prosecutor’s attempt to deny Blythe’s bail. His bail, however, has been raised to $400,000 USD — double what he has already paid.

Blythe has been detained in a Czech jail for almost three weeks, accused of injuring a man during a Lamb of God performance who consequently died in 2010.

In an interview via his lawyer, Blythe told Blesk.cz about his future plans once released.

“If I go back to the U.S., I will mow the lawn, spend some time with family and plunge right back into performing…If I had to stay in the Czech Republic, I would look at the sights, especially in Prague. I would follow Kafka and I would eat dumplings.”
