Chino Moreno on Unreleased Deftones Album ‘Eros’: It’s More Appropriate Now to Think About Releasing the Record

Deftones’ scrapped 2008 album Eros — the one they were recording with late bassist Chi Cheng prior to his accident — may actually see the light of day.

In an interview with Artisan News found below, frontman Chino Moreno said he could see Eros being released “more so now probably than ever.”

Moreno said he went back and listened to the recordings recently, and that it’s “a little more appropriate now for us to think about [releasing the record].”
