Architects ‘Daybreaker’ Reissue to feat. Bon Iver & Thrice Covers; Stream Their New Song ‘Black Blood’

by | Jun 4, 2013

Architects will reissue their 2012 album Daybreaker in North America next week.

The re-release will be out on June 11th through Century Media and will feature covers of Bon Iver’s “Blood Bank” and Thrice’s “Of Dust And Nations,” along with a new song called “Black Blood,” which is streaming below.

Speaking on why the reissue won’t be released outside of North America, the band said:

“We’re sorry that these won’t be released anywhere else. Its completely out of our control. We’ve repeatedly asked Century Media that it be released, even just digitally, in the rest of the world but they flat out refuse.”

“Seeing as most of the world (and most of our fans) are unable to buy it, you may as well find free downloads and get hold of it that way. If you American folk buy the songs and want to share them with non American folk, we won’t stop you.”

Here’s a lyric video for the track:
