Despite Tim Lambesis’ Murder-for-Hire Case, Austrian Death Machine is Moving Forward with New Album

by | Jun 13, 2013

Despite the murder-for-hire case of As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis, his side project Austrian Death Machine is moving forward with its new record.

A recent post on the band’s Facebook said, “Tim finished all of his parts back before he went on tour in Asia. He was just waiting for me to do my parts and put together the finishing touches on the mix of the album. I’m working on that this starting this week now that I have the files. The CD should be done soon and then we’ll start planning to manufacture.”

The band’s forthcoming record Triple Brutal was funded by an Indiegogo campaign, which raised nearly $80,000. Among the incentives for those who contributed: “Tim will be your personal trainer for a month,” “Spend a day in the studio with the band,” “Record vocals alongside Ahhnold and Tim,” and “Your initials tattooed on Tim’s butt and dinner to celebrate after.” No word, however, on how Lambesis’ current case will affect those perks.

Lambesis has a preliminary hearing set for July 10th.
