NBC San Diego is reporting that Lambesis admitted in court today that he attempted to hire a hit man to kill his estranged wife.

“He wanted to know if maybe I could find someone to do it for him,” personal trainer Brett Kimball testified at a pretrial hearing.

Apparently he wanted her dead because she was going to get up to 60-percent of his income and wouldn’t allow him to take their three children on tour.
