We got personal with Veil of Maya guitarist Marc Okubo at a coffee shop a couple years ago. He told us that on the band’s first-ever tour with After The Burial a promoter tried to pay them with cheeseburgers from McDonalds instead of $$$. At least offer the man a McChicken!

VOM have come a long way since their early days of Happy Meals and McRibs. They’ve just entered the studio to begin recording their new album, which is expected out this summer.
