Every Time I Die’s New Album “From Parts Unknown” Will Make You Thirsty

by | May 16, 2014

Okay, so we don’t have official confirmation on this, but according to some recent retail listings, this is what the cover of the new Every Time I Die album looks like. It’s reportedly titled From Parts Unknown and comes out this summer.

As most of you know, ETID recorded their new album with Kurt Ballou of Converge at his own GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts. The new album will feature a guest appearance — or two — definitely from The Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon. We assume there will be some more appearances because the band gave goodie packages to people who came by the studio — but ya know, we like to jump to conclusions around here.

We’re not sure if their cover of Nirvana’s “Tourette’s” will appear on the album, but that would be pretty sweet. (You know ’68, the new band of The Chariot’s Josh Scogin, have also been covering the track?)

Did guitarist Andy Williams drink insane amounts of coffee for this record? When we interviewed him early last year he said it helped him when writing riffs for Ex Lives.

Anyway, here’s a live version of a new song called “Thirst” that’s expected to appear on the release. It’s taken from their show at the Roxy last year. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to see that tall, skinny blonde chick who crowdsurfed a million times during their set.

From Parts Unknown is slated for a July 1st release through Epitaph.
