The Safety Fire Have a Glass Crush on You

by | May 22, 2014

How cool would it have been to see System of a Down play with The Dillinger Escape Plan back in the Toxicity days? If you’re Derya “Dez” Nagle from The Safety Fire, it’s one of your most memorable shows as a teenager. When we interviewed the guitar wizard last year he told us about the performance he saw at Brixton Academy, and how it blew his mind. “Who is this band?” he thought the first time he witnessed Dillinger’s crazy stage antics.

It’s been a pretty busy year so far for TSF. They recently finished a massive North American tour supporting Protest The Hero, and this summer they’ll be doing a handful of festival dates in the UK.

Have you seen their merch lately? We’re especially impressed with this new Drake shirt (which can be picked up here).

Anyway, here’s a new video for their track “Glass Crush.” It’s taken off their album Mouth of Swords. We’ve also included a full stream of the record to get you through the day.

The Safety Fire tour dates:

Jul 04-06 Knebworth, UK @ Sonisphere
Jul 10-14 Newark, UK @ Tech-Fest
Aug 15-16 Kent, UK @ Hevy Fest
