The Fall of Troy’s Second Show This Year is Going Down in Chicago

by | May 27, 2014

You know The Fall of Troy were one of the first bands to take out Tera Melos? We saw them play back in 2008 when the Knitting Factory in Hollywood was still around. Before the show we interviewed TFOT and talked about some haunted venues they played at, such as the Masquerade in Atlanta. “I don’t feel comfortable walking alone by myself before doors open,” Thomas Erak said of the place.

Maybe he’ll be a little more comfortable walking around Mojoes in Joliet, IL — we hear it’s less creepy. The band will be playing there on June 15th, and it’ll be their first Chicago area show in a while, and their second performance of 2014. Perhaps they’ll play some new tunes?

As we mentioned before, The Fall of Troy are currently at work writing a new record, a follow up to 2009’s In the Unlikely Event. They’re doing it all on their own without any label support.

More shows are expected to be announced soon, definitely one in New York. We’ll let you know when more gets revealed.

And since we mentioned it, here’s some footage from 2008 where Nick Reinhart of Tera Melos joined TFOT on stage.

Underoath Interview with Spencer Chamberlain

Norma Jean’s fall tour with Vanna and KEN mode has been a hectic one. The other week while passing through Chicago somebody broke into their van and took a bunch of their personal belongings. “Someone broke into our van and stole a lot from us,” the...
