Retox Have New Stuff in the Works

by | Jun 17, 2014

Speaking of Justin Pearson, we did a really cool interview with him back in the day when he was touring with The Locust in late 2007.  It was at the now demolished Shelly Cafe in Hollywood, right next to the defunct Knitting Factory — and he talked in depth about running his label Three One G, who you probably know released The Blood Brothers’ March on Electric Children in 2002.

Pearson, a man of many projects, has been focusing his efforts on Retox as of late. The band have two albums out — 2011’s Ugly Animals and 2013’s YPLL — and they’re back at work writing new material. So far there are seven new songs with more to come.

Does this mean we’re getting a new Retox album later this year? Our fingers are crossed.

Here’s a stream of their latest record, YPLL, in full.
