Well that’s weird. We never would have guessed that Finch would be touring this fall with Maps & Atlases — an interesting choice of bands for sure. As you’ve been aware, things have heated up for Finch since they did their What It Is to Burn reunion tour, and their new album Back to Oblivion will be the first new material we’ve heard since the group returned after their second hiatus in 2012.
Back To Oblivion was produced by Brian Virtue (Deftones, 30 Seconds To Mars), and it’ll follow up the band’s 2005 album Say Hello To Sunshine. The first single, “Two Guns To The Temple,” will be released via retail outlets tomorrow as a digital single. And as we mentioned, this fall they’ll be out with Maps & Atlases and Weatherbox.
Back To Oblivion comes out on September 30th via Razor & Tie.
