GIRAFFE TONGUE ORCHESTRA (Dillinger, Mastodon, QOTSA) to Record with Ross Robinson

Let’s talk a little more about The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Ben Weinman. You know Giraffe Tongue Orchestra? It’s a project that features Weinman with Mastodon guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds, ex-Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery, and Queens of the Stone Age drummer Jon Theodore (One Day As A Lion, ex-The Mars Volta). 

Anyway their music has been a long time coming. And as it turns out, the band will be entering the studio very soon (this week?) with producer Ross Robinson. We’re not sure how many songs they’ll be recording, but we’ll keep you posted as we go.
