PREMIERE: Listen to THE PNEUMATIC TRANSIT’s (ex-Exotic Animal) Rendition of “My Favorite Things”

by | Dec 21, 2014

Boy do we have a Christmas treat for you. If you come to our site often you know we’ve talked a lot about The Pneumatic Transit, a new band featuring former Exotic Animal Petting Zoo guitarist Jeff Zampillo. It’s been an intense year for Jeff and his group — their drummer tragically passed away earlier this year, and they’ve somehow managed to keep everything together. Now they’re gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut album Concerto for Double Moon.

But while the record is still months away from being released, tis the season to be jolly. So we’ve teamed up with the band to premiere their rendition of John Coltrane’s Christmas classic “My Favorite Things,” originally performed by Rodgers and Hammerstein for The Sound of Music.

This version of the song rules. And it’s best listened to with a glass of spiked eggnog. Enjoy.

PS. You can also download the song on Bandcamp.
