THE SAFETY FIRE Down a Member, but a New Album is Coming

by | Dec 22, 2014

This will be an interesting start to the New Year. The Safety Fire are now bass-less, but despite being down a guy, things are full swing for a new album in 2015.

The band revealed today that bassist Lori Peri parted ways with the group. He was an original member of the band, which started 12 years ago.

He said,

Today marks 12 years since The Safety Fire played its first ever show (back then we were called Omega Child…) and I would have never thought all those years ago that we would go on to release two albums and play hundreds of shows to tens of thousands of people across the world.

But on the bright side, a new album is expected out next year. The record will follow up their massive 2013 album Mouth Of Swords, which was supported by some huge tours, particularly a couple alongside Protest The Hero.

We’ll let you know when we hear more. Here’s a stream of Mouth of Swords in full.
