LA DISPUTE: Stream their Cover of NIRVANA’s “Polly”

by | Apr 14, 2015

It’s hard to imagine that Nirvana’s album Nevermind came out in 1991 — back in the day when we were little shits and some of you weren’t even born. Of course today you can’t even turn on the radio without hearing a track off the monumental record. How many times can they play “Smells Like Teen Spirit” anyway?

But somehow Robotic Empire have added new life to those Nirvana songs. Their latest Nirvana tribute Whatever Nevermind is a compilation that features Nirvana covers done by Circa Survive, Touche Amore, La Dispute, Boris, Cave In, Kylesa, Torche, Young Widows, and more.

Here’s La Dispute’s cover of “Polly.” It was recorded last year at a show in Seattle.

Whatever Nevermind will be released on April 18th in conjunction with Record Store Day 2015.
