by | Apr 24, 2015

Remember last month when Mastodon’s Brann Dailor did a video testimonial for Planes Mistaken For Stars? We fell under the impression that the band were going to make some sort of return this year. A tour perhaps? Maybe new tunes?

Good news. It looks like PMFS will indeed be hitting the road this summer and they’ll also be putting out a reissue of their 2006 influential record MercyDeathwish will be releasing the reissue on July 14th, which will include a remastered version of the record and revamped packaging.

Oh and word on the street: the band have been working on new material that’s expected out on Deathwish in the near future. Until then, here’s another testimonial of the band’s influence from Jeremy Bolm of Touche Amore, Nate Newton of Converge/Doomriders, and Ryan Patterson of Coliseum
