THE PNEUMATIC TRANSIT to Release Debut Album “Concerto for Double Moon” in October

by | Sep 14, 2015

It’s been a long time coming, but finally the debut album from The Pneumatic Transit has been given a release date. You may remember me talking about this group before: it’s a project spearheaded by former Exotic Animal Petting Zoo guitarist Jeff Zampillo, and it’s going to blow your mind.

If you’re not familiar with the story of the band, the CliffsNotes version goes like this: they formed after things with Exotic Animal fizzled out, and then in the middle of tracking their debut record their drummer tragically passed away. Somehow Jeff has been able to keep things together, and now Concerto for Double Moon is going to see a proper release.

Super progressive/jazz-fusion insanity — it’s like Omar Rodriguez-Lopez meets Trioscapes. Here’s a teaser for the album.

Concerto for Double Moon will be released on October 13th.
