SWOLLEN BRAIN: Nick Reinhart of TERA MELOS has a New Experimental Project

If you’ve been wondering what Nick Reinhart has been up to these days — he’s been making lots of noise. Literally. The Tera Melos guitarist/vocalist has been causing lots of racket with his new experimental band Swollen Brain.

The project features Nick with Dot Hacker drummer Eric Gardner, and so far they’ve already played a couple shows — apparently mostly improvised.

Here are a pair of videos from their latest performance at El Cid in Los Angeles earlier in the month.

And since Halloween and the holidays are around the corner, we have to ask: Dear Nick, will there be a Scary Sounds III? And more importantly, will there be a Satan’s Power IV in time for Christmas?
