The New LETLIVE Album is Called “If I’m the Devil…”

by | Nov 16, 2015

We’ve been patiently waiting on details for the new letlive album. And as you can see, there’s now a title for the band’s highly anticipated fourth record — it’s called If I’m the Devil…

A follow up to 2013’s The Blackest Beautiful, the new record is expected out early next year. Jason Butler told Revolver that it’s got a more advanced version of their rock/soul approach, acoustic parts, and even electronic elements that you’d expect from Radiohead or A Tribe Called Quest.

“We got into a bunch of fucking arguments when we were writing this record. Some of us wanted to do our punk songs and some of us wanted to do our more rock songs. Me, I wanted to do some shit that sounded like Kanye [West] meets Royal Blood or some- thing. But then we started to let go and just said, ‘Fuck it, let’s write the song and see how we feel about it when it’s done.’”

The band is currently on the road wrapping up another leg of dates supporting Rise Against with Killswitch Engage. Here’s how it runs:

Letlive tour dates w/ Rise Against & Killswitch:

Nov 16 Houston, TX @ House of Blues
Nov 17 Austin, TX @ Stubb’s
Nov 18 Tulsa, OK @ Brady Theatre
Nov 20 Tempe, AZ @ Marquee
Nov 21 Las Vegas, NV @ Downtown Las Vegas Event Center
