THREE TRAPPED TIGERS: Hear a Song Off their New Album “Silent Earthling”

by | Jan 27, 2016

Even Brian Eno is stoked. How can you not be? Three Trapped Tigers – they’re greeeat!

Cereal references aside, London’s Three Trapped Tigers are finally putting out this album we’ve been waiting for… for a while now. Their first new music in five years, their sophomore effort is called Silent Earthling, and it’s coming out on Superball Music.

This spring the band will be touring all over the UK to support the new record. We can only hope they come to the States too. Fingers crossed.

Speaking of Brian Eno, the group worked with Brian and Karl Hyde of Underworld during the writing stages of Silent Earthling. Keyboard player Tom Rogerson even has a collaborative album coming out with Brian later this year. More on that another time.

Here’s a stream of the title track of the record. Silent Earthling comes out April 1st.

All things considered, it’s pretty crazy how Wovenwar started. Everybody knows the story of what happened with As I Lay Dying, but not many people know that the seeds of Wovenwar were actually planted over a decade ago deep in the heart of Texas, long before As...

The Safety Fire Interview: Derya “Dez” Nagle on Setting the Music Scene Ablaze

Just weeks before The Safety Fire’s sophomore album, Mouth Of Swords, came out in September, guitarist Derya “Dez” Nagle was involved in a cycling accident and had to undergo surgery. “Few weeks of rest and all will be well,” he said back in late July about the...

From First To Last Interview – Matt Manning, Blake Steiner – ‘Throne to the Wolves’

It has been quite some time since I last sat down with the From First To Last gentlemen. In fact, my previous interview with the band was about Sonny Moore quitting the group, working with Ross Robinson on “Heroine”, and Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit filling...
