GIRAFFE TONGUE ORCHESTRA: Listen to “Crucifixion” from the Dillinger, Mastodon, Alice in Chains Supergroup

by | Jun 20, 2016

Holy shit. We’ve been waiting a long time for Giraffe Tongue Orchestra to put out some music. The project that features Ben Weinman of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Brent Hinds of Mastodon, plus William DuVall of Alice in Chains finally released a new song!

The track is called “Crucifixion” and it’ll appear on their forthcoming album that’s expected out sometime this year. We don’t have many details on it yet, but we know the band spent time recording with Ross Robinson and Steve Evetts, and collaborated with Juliette Lewis (ex-Juliette and the Licks) among others.

This summer they’ll be making their live debut at Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK. Hopefully more dates will be announced shortly.

Skip to 4:42 to hear the song.

Update: The band’s album is called Broken Lines and it’s set for a September 23rd release date.
