ANDREW WK & GWAR Get Garbage Pail Kids Cards

by | Sep 12, 2016

Did you ever collect Garbage Pail Kids cards growing up? Or maybe even still collect them as an adult? Because if so, it’s your lucky day. Some of your favorite musicians are getting the Topps treatment, including Andrew WK and GWAR.

It’s all courtesy of Riot Fest, which kicks off this weekend (Sep 16-18) in Chicago. The festival recently got their own Garbage Pail Kids Series that they’ll be selling at Riot Fest Chicago in limited quantities.

What lucky bands got their own Garbage Pail Kids cards?

  • NOFX (“Fat Mike”)
  • The Lawrence Arms (“The Lawrence Harmed”)
  • Naked Raygun (“Ray Gun”)
  • Descendents (“Mad Milo”)
  • Riot Fest (“Riot Festus”)
  • Andrew WK (“Awesome Andrew”)
  • Taking Back Sunday (“Taking Back Tidal Wave”)
  • GWAR (“GWAR Noir”)

Not too bad right?

What’s also not too bad are some of the bands you’ll see at the festival. Aside from the headliners — the original Misfits reunion, Morrissey, The Flaming Lips, Ween, and Rob Zombie — you’ll also get a chance to catch Brand New, Deftones, Thursday, and Glassjaw.

Here’s the complete lineup:
