SERJ TANKIAN Announces Another Elect The Dead/Orca Performance at CSUN

by | Sep 13, 2016

CSUN students, get stoked. System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian has added a second night to his orchestral performance on campus. The first show sold out in a few minutes of going on sale. And now you’ve got another chance to score tickets.

Serj will be performing at the Valley Performing Arts Center at Cal State Northridge on Saturday, November 12th. This performance, as well as the one the day before, will mark the first time his “Elect The Dead” and “Orca” symphonies are played in North America.

Joining him onstage: the CSUN Symphony Orchestra under the direction of John Roscigno.

From what we hear it’s going to be a rad show. One that blends rock with “the blissful dynamics of an orchestra.”

Get your tickets while you can.

Now let’s talk about System of a Down for a second. There have been lots of rumors floating around saying new SOAD is in the works. Back in May the band said they were trying to bring new material together. Well, we may be closer than you think to hearing new music.
