CRYSTAL FAIRY: Omar Rodriguez-Lopez & Members of Melvins, Le Butcherettes Start New Band

Here’s another project to add to Omar’s list: a new band called Crystal Fairy. It features the At The Drive-In/Mars Volta guitarist with Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover of the Melvins, along with Teri Gender Bender from Le Butcherettes.

Not too much has been revealed about the project, but a 7″ EP dubbed Necklace Of Divorce is due out later this month. The band are currently working on their debut full-length record that’s expected out in February through Ipecac.

Here’s their new single “Drugs on the Bus.”
