Dead Letter Circus re-recorded their debut EP and it’s epic

by | Feb 24, 2017

If you’ve been with us a while, you know we have a soft spot for Australia. You can’t beat wallabies and surf. And you can’t beat Aussie bands like Dead Letter Circus.

Remember when we interviewed them in 2011? We talked a lot about their 2007 debut EP. Which, by the way, is getting completely reimagined for their next release, The Endless Mile.

The Endless Mile features 12 new versions of songs from the band’s discography — the entire self-titled EP and a few band favorites. To top it off, they’ll be doing a special tour Down Under to support it called The Endless Mile Tour. This one will be sentimental too: it’s celebrates the 10th anniversary of their first EP.

The Endless Mile comes out in May. Pre-orders here.

Dead Letter Circus tour dates:

Mar 02 Fortitude Valley, QLD @ New Globe Theatre
Mar 03 Marrickville, NSW @ The Factory Theatre
Mar 04 Newcastle, NSW @ Cambridge Hotel
Mar 10 Melbourne, VIC @ Max Watts
Mar 11 Adelaide, SA @ Uni Bar
Mar 17 Bunbury, WA @ Prince Of Wales Hotel
Mar 18 Perth, WA @ Badlands

The Chariot Interview on Ryan’s Rock Show

Given the current state of the music industry, it’s often hard to know if a band creates art, or if they’re a manufactured product designed to sell. Half of the time at shows, it’s hard to tell if a band is playing for real, or if they’re playing to pre-recorded...

The Chariot: An Interview with Josh Scogin on ‘One Wing’

“I opened the door and it was all white,” Josh Scogin recalls of throwing flour on Alesana during The Chariot’s 2008 tour with the band. “They went up to play and every time they’d headbang there would be this powder of flour...

From First To Last Interview – Matt Manning, Blake Steiner – ‘Throne to the Wolves’

It has been quite some time since I last sat down with the From First To Last gentlemen. In fact, my previous interview with the band was about Sonny Moore quitting the group, working with Ross Robinson on “Heroine”, and Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit filling...
